Wilbur E. Goodwin (July 17, 1847-1905) was an incorporator of the Hartford Suburban Railroad Company and a director of the Light & Power Company. He was the husband of Ella J. Waters.

He was married to Ella J. Waters on September 24, 1874.

By mid-October 1905, Goodwin was suffering from nephritis (Bright's disease, back then) and was confined to his home in Elmwood.
